San Francisco: WhatsApp Company Announces No More Service on Smartphones from February 1st { Current Affairs}

WhatsApp, the largest messaging app for mobile, announced earlier this year that service will be discontinued on specific smartphones after January 31.

The WhatsApp release said that WhatsApp will no longer be used on the older operating systems of Android and iOS.

As indicated by the organization, users using Android 2.3.7 or older will not be able to use the service. Correspondingly, users of the iPhone who are using iOS 8 or older operating system will also use the app.

IPhone users who are using the 4S model will be able to use the WhatsApp on their mobile as their operating system has been upgraded by the company.
